Sarah – Insurance & Scheduling Coordinator
My name is Sarah and I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2002. I was an orthodontic assistant for 6 years and am now a member of the front office team. I am originally from Ohio (GO BUCKEYES!) and love football! My wonderful husband, Nathan, and I have been married since 2006. We have two beautiful children, Callie and Henry, as well as two American bulldogs, Shamrock & Belle. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going riding with my husband on his motorcycle. My favorite TV shows include, Sons of Anarchy, Desperate Housewives, and Grey’s Anatomy. |

Andrea – Financial Coordinator & Scheduling Coordinator
My name is Andrea and I joined the orthodontic field in 2003 and have been with Dr. Shapiro ever since. I find orthodontics very rewarding. It’s wonderful to see the lives of our patients change as their smiles develop. When I am not at work having fun I have fun spending time with my husband Tim and our two Labrador retrievers, Sadie & Chloe and Golden/Shepard mix Casey. I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, spinning, listening to music and attending Cardinal Baseball games. Some of my favorite movies are Pretty Woman, Along Came Polly, Sixteen Candles and 13 Going on 30. My favorite TV shows are Desperate Housewives and Big Brother. |

Shelly – Treatment Coordinator
My name is Shelly and I began my orthodontic career in 1988 and have been with Dr. Shapiro since moving here in 2004. I am originally from St. Joseph, MO. I have a BA in Vocal Music. I had orthodontic treatment in college and have been involved in orthodontics ever since. After all of these years I still love the orthodontic process and seeing the “big smile” on patient’s faces the day their braces are removed. When I’m not at work I love spending time with my husband Richard, two children Aaron and Emily and our two dogs Blossom and Magnolia. I also enjoy singing, reading and attending Cardinal Baseball games. My favorite movies are The Princess Bride, The Goonies, A Walk to Remember and Shawshank Redemption. My favorite place to eat is Erio’s Pizza. |

I have two beautiful children Kirsten and Jonathan, three dogs, one cat, a chicken and a rabbit. I love spending time with my family. Dusti – Clinical Coordinator/Lab Technician
My name is Dusti and I began my orthodontic career in 2002 and have been with Dr. Shapiro since moving back home from Orlando, Florida in 2007. My hometown is 80 miles south of St. Louis in a town called Oakdale, IL. I enjoy getting to know patients and watching their lives change along with their smiles. When I’m not at work having fun and laughing with our patients and their families, I enjoy spending time with my husband Tom and my two dogs, a schnauzer named Max and a yorkie poo named Buddy. I enjoy playing volleyball, softball, bowling and shooting pool. My favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Anchorman & Almost Famous. My all time favorite TVshow is Friends. |

My name is Maida and I have been an orthodontic assistant for 8 years and have been working with Dr. Shapiro since 2007. I am from Bosnia and lived in Munich Germany for 9 years, where I finished High School and College. I came to the U.S. in 1999. My husband Emir and I were married in 2006 and we have two children, Shayla and Adis. I love to spend my free time with my 3 favorite people, my husband and 2 kids. My favorite movies are Saw I-IV, Message in the Bottle, The Notebook, The Lovely Bones and Silence of the Lambs. I love camping in the summer with my family. |

I have been working in the orthodontic field for 18 years and have been working with Dr. Shapiro since 2009. I originally grew up on a farm in Leasburg. I currently live in Cuba, MO with my dog Kirby. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and camping. I love to read and my favorite author is Stephen King.
